Climbing Pixels is a groundbreaking project by Stuart Beekmeyer and collaborators launching at GalleryGallery Inc in Brunswick/Bulleke-bek.
The intent of Climbing Pixels is to extract the climbable information from 2D images of fine art to create unique bouldering sculptures.
It’s art gallery red wine with a dose of Red Bull.
Stuart Beekmeyer completed his masters in landscape architecture on the fusion of form and bouldering at RMIT in 2011.
He runs bouldering consultancy firm Bouldergeist and is a practicing artist and designer across Melbourne, NYC and Berlin.
